I am Saz Reed, a marine scientist who loves adventuring and hanging out with my pals and family in all of my spare time. For the past 10 years I have worked as a Marine Scientist and professional skipper/diver all over the world on research and consultancy projects. I am currently putting these skills to the test working at SSE Transmission as a Marine Consents Manager, consenting subsea power cables. When I am not at work I try to get the most out of my lunch breaks, evenings and annual leave to get fit and adventure. My favourite new pastime is going remote bike packing, with our latest trip being Kyrgyzstan. I have many different past times that I try and give a go depending on the weather conditions – Scotland is the place that has it all.
