Flames in the Understory

A display of heliconias, also known as lobster claws on a dark backdrop. After a recent visit to Mount Cootha Botanical Gardens in Brisbane. I was drawn to these pops of orange surrounded by dark glossy leaves. A great piece for the horticulturist in the house who loves subtropical plants.
